Things to do in Phoenix/Scottsdale
We are going to be in Scottsdale for spring break. We have never been and would appreciate some idea of what activities/sights there are to do with kids. We considered going to the Grand Canyon for a night, but from what I understand it is a long drive and I really want to have a relaxing vacation so I think we will save it for another time. We may do Sedona one day, though. Any other suggestions? We will be there a full week - kids are 9,7, 3 and almost 2.

Things to do in Phoenix/Scottsdale
Ok, so complete disclaimer--- it's probably been 25 years since I was in AZ and went to this, and when I did it was in the scottsdale area, so I cant vouch for it now, and dont know where in relation to Phoenix and Scottsdale its new location is --- but ... www.rawhide.com It's an old western town/attraction

Sedona-you can definitely do this in a day (i've done it).
Desert Botanical Garden
Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot
Picnic/Hiking in Papago Park

It's been sooo long, but we did the Pink Jeep Tours and thought it was so much fun.

Our kids loved the train park, children's museum and the zoo. The Phoenix Zoo is awesome!
I recently went on a girlfriend getaway to Sedona/Scottsdale. The Pink Jeep tour was really fun! We had some amazing food in Sedona. I had one of the best meals of my life at Elote. They don't take reservations but the food is truly amazing.
