Gift for 3 yr old
How much $ would you give for attending a 3 yr old girl party? The parents specifically said no clothes or toys. What would you give?

That's odd to have a party and pretty much narrow it down to asking for a cash. Maybe for a close family member I get it, but for a friend I don't think that's right.
I think it depends on the relationship. School friend about $25 and for family maybe $30 - $40. Depending on the relationship.
THere's a lot of great learning games we got for my boys for the holidays... counting, words, etc. Even art stuff is great. Love Toy Genius for that stuff, but sometimes they can be really pricey so Amazon is perfect too.

No clothes or toys. I asked what her DD was into and/or already had and she said they have many xmas gifts they haven't opened, no space and too many clothes.....sooo basically wanting $$$. I was thinking of getting a toy anyway, learning or books ( or maybe something loud and obnioxious..lol). We were close friends years ago had a falling out and recently started talking again. Maybe a GC to BRU/TRU?

I would just give a TRU GC especially since the mom sounds like she is leaning toward the $ option.

It's annoying but I can relate. We have too much stuff already and no space so I always dread DD's birthday which is not too long after christmas. I would maybe do some books or a game. Not sure what's left if you don't want to do a gc. A set of sheets .

I would get art stuff..... That's my go to gift. Every kid loves crayola and technically it's not a toy :)

I agree with the craft stuff. I find myself constantly going to AC MOORE. I wish somoene had gotten us all the stuff like pom pom, feathers, beads etc.... We love doing projects
