Where to get Christening/Baptism Gown?
My mom wants to get it for me for my shower. But wants me to pick it out with her. We went today to two places but couldn't find anything our style.
I am looking for something more classic and traditional. I am not much for embellishment like rhinestones and glitter.
Where can we go look? Suggestions?

I got DS's outfit at Charlotte's Kids in Wantagh. DD wore the gown both me and my sister were baptized in.

Where are you located?
I found my DS's christening outfit at Little Dickens in Centereach. For my DD I just found one at Babies R Us.
Little Dickens had a pretty big selection!

I'd recommend Cathy's Touch in Merrick.

I would highly recommend the Colony Shop in Patchogue. They've been around for many years and they have a great selection!
My mom got DS outfit from there and brought it to us. we live OOS. I've also seen nice ones at JC Penney as well.

Where to get Christening/Baptism Gown?
i went to cathy's touch in merrick. i found a dress i loved except it had these lace things hanging off the sleeve that i hated. they removed them for me. so if you see something you kind of like don't be afraid to ask them to tailor it if need be

Thank you, my mom and I went there yesterday and found a beautiful gown. What a nice store and the woman was so helpful.

Yes, I have a boy so I obviously didn't need a dress but saw the selection at Colony Shop and it was beautiful -- what does the one you got look like??
Post a pic?? :)

Where to get Christening/Baptism Gown?
I don't have it because she's giving it to me at the shower but wanted me involved in picking it out. I'm glad because my mom and I are usually right in sync with taste, but in this case she wanted more traditional. I thought the gowns she was picking were 70s looking. But we found one we both are happy with. Its got pretty puffed lace sleeves, leaf lace with some beading and a big beautiful bow in the back.
