Mommy and me classes when you also have a newborn
Dd will be two when dd2 arrives. I love taking her to mommy and me classes. What do you do when the newborn arrives? It's summer at least so I don't have to worry about flu season, but still wouldn't bring the baby with me early on.
What did you do?

Mommy and me classes when you also have a newborn
DD was a preemie and born during flu season so I didn't take her out for the first 2 months. After 8 days in the nicu I wanted to wait until we were past the stage of any fever landing us in the hospital. It was tough not being able to go out when I was used to taking my 2.5 year old out every day. Once we passed the 2 month mark I've taken her to play dates, open play, library classes and she usually just stays in the carseat or I'm holding/nursing her. None of the kids really go near her so it's been fine. Now that she's awake more I would probably put her in the ergo to keep her happy and be able to play with DD1.

Yes definitely bring the baby. You can keep her wrapped up in a moby or ergo, or in the carrier to let her sleep. It's so easy when they are still tiny.

Unless you have a newborn like I did who screamed bloody murder 24/7 due to colic and never slept more than 20 min at a stretch.
We couldn't even take her on a walk around the neighborhood, she would scream so bad in the stroller that people outside would look at us like we were murdering her. It was awful. We barely left the house.
Hopefully you will have the newborn that everyone talks about- the oh all they do is sleep newborn. The newborn that you can do everything with because it's the easiest time to do it. My newborn apparently missed that memo.
