GARBAGE'S SHIRLEY MANSON WRITES OPEN LETTER TO KANYE WEST
Rock icon and Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has stepped in to the Kanye West vs. Beck GRAMMY controversy, slamming Yeezy for being 'petty and spoilt'.
Following in his own footsteps of interrupting Taylor Swift when she beat Beyonce, Yeezy took to the stage to take on Beck when he deservedly took him the Best Album prize for the beautiful Morning Phase - saying: "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should've given his award to Beyonce."
Taking to her official Facebook page, Manson slammed Kanye - claiming that it was in fact he who 'disrespected artistry' in his antics, urging him to 'grow up and stop throwing his toys around' while also defending both Beck and Beyonce for existing so well on their own terms.
Manson said:
"Dear Kanye West,
"It is YOU who is so busy disrespecting artistry.
"You disrespect your own remarkable talents and more importantly you disrespect the talent, hard work and tenacity of all artists when you go so rudely and savagely after such an accomplished and humble artist like BECK.
"You make yourself look small and petty and spoilt.
"In attempting to reduce the importance of one great talent over another, you make a mockery of all musicians and music from every genre, including your own.
"Grow up and stop throwing your toys around.
"You are making yourself look like a complete ****.
"P.s. I am pretty certain Beyonce doesn't need you fighting any battles on her account. Seems like she's got everything covered perfectly well on her own."
We agree. We've missed Manson's honesty and attitude, and we welcome her return when Garbage's sixth album reportedly drops later this year.

I can't help but think he has a secret crush on Beyonce. He sure tries to defend her enough; even though its not needed.
