What webiste is best for Outerbanks rental
How do I go about searching and booking a house in the Outerbanks? Is August or September a good time to go? Or is that hurricane season?

check out sunrealtync.com. thats a big company down there with a lot of rentals all over the OBX. my parents have a vacation house in the OBX so I'm pretty familiar with the area. with the kids, you probably want to stay in the towns of Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Duck... they have a lot more going on as far as restaurants, activities, etc. Cape Hatteras Natonal seashore is a little further south... its gorgeous and low-key... BUT theres a little bit less going on, sine a lot of it is preserved. there are still restaurants, food stores, mini golf, kayak rentals, and all that stuff though... i think the biggest thing is that theres not really a super close airport there- i think the closest one in Richmond. so you have to make sure everybody is ok with the 10 or so hour drive to get there i would say try earlier august to try to avoid hurricanes (and trip insurance is probably a good idea just in case) Definitely send me a message if you want to know more
