Similac for supplementation
Anyone have success or do you think it is a marketing ploy? Thinking of using this for the twins to supplement between nursing and pumped bottles. TIA!

Similac for supplementation
I did, starting about 5 months old and my DD adapted perfectly. Now she's almost 11months and we've switched over almost completely w no issues.

Of course it's a marketing ploy, as you can supplement with any formula. They're just trying to attract another group of moms!
Anything can work for your babies.

When you're ready to supplement, choose whatever formula you want. There's nothing special about this one. Just choose the ones you have the most free samples of / coupons for at home. (And then if you're like me, switch to Target brand which is exactly the same and much cheaper!)

The Ped in the hospital told me this too. I used it because it didn't cost any extra, and it worked out fine.

I asked my Ped and they said it's the same stuff-i only formula feed and just used the samples when I had them
