DD said whaaaat?!?! *update at bottom*
DD is 26 months old. We don't use curse words in front of her, but she had to get this from somewhere. She said, "f@c&!ng poop"! yesterday. 
Ok, so I ignored it. She said it again (this is while I was changing her sister's diaper). Again, I ignored it. I didn't hear it again, and thought maybe she was trying to say something else and I was misunderstanding her.....
Until today. My uberCatholic, non cursing mother was here when she blurts out, "f@(King dog"! 
Ok so now I know she's not just saying whatever, she's actually using it appropriately (lol?)
What should I do?

AJ said something similar once.. but not the F bomb. I said "I'm sorry what was that?" as if I simply misheard her, no big deal, not shocked or angry at all.. simple.. what was that sweetie, not sure I heard you.
She said it again. By HOW she said it the second time I could see she was unsure. I said "oh ok, sweetie, please don't say that again.. its a bad word." She asked why of course and I said that there are words little girls and boys shouldn't say. I said that yes, mama and daddy may use them but we try not to and you may even hear other boys and girls use them but I'd much rather she didn't. Please.
She said OK that was it.
Do I cuss? Hell f'ing yah I do. Do I do it on purpose in front of her. No. I try not to but my Dad cussed in front of me and others will cuss in front of her too. The idea isn't that the words are bad, its that they shouldn't be coming from the mouth of a beautiful baby girl. I never cussed in front of my dad, but I knew very early they were bad and not to be said. Wasn't until I was 18 and the first time one slipped out I covered my mouth and looked at him in shock. He laughed at me!
They are words. They old no power other than what we give them. Just like racial slurs and other horrible words said that aren't technically curse words.
I won't hide them from her but I will talk to her about them nonchalantly that they aren't nice words and ask her not to say them.
She still yells at me for saying Heck or Damn. LOL heaven forbid!

DH and I are laughing behind closed doors, believe me. He thinks it's his dad or mom because they're always complaining about the dog being a pain in the azz.
The 3 times she's said it, no one has reacted. Oh God I hope it goes away

Lol! My daughter in the car on Tuesday said "do ya wanna get off the d!ck?!?". After laughing so hard I almost peed myself, my daughter asked me if it was funny and I said "no hunny, that's a bad word and I don't want you to say it anymore". She hasn't said it since. I have to say though it is my own fault. I was so nervous while no was driving because there were patches of ice everywhere and this big box truck came riding up my bumper. I meant to say you wanna get off my butt? Even though he couldn't hear me and instead d!ck came out! I'm praying my daughter doesn't say this in her Catholic School.......

DS has been saying "f**cking Moogle!" (The cat) for months. It's all DH's fault! I ignore it. DH has been getting better and DS says it less now. I had to turn away the first time he said it because I was hysterical!

I had this too.
DS clearly tried to move something and said it was "too f*cking heavy". He said it in front of my whole family!
What's worse: he sounded just like me 
I stopped cursing that day.
It took about a month to replace that with "fubbles" which then disappeared all together.
Looking back, we laugh at it all the time!

Grandpa says "oh my Gawd" a lot. Grandma smacks him in the back of his head and tells him not to say it...of course same DD repeats it. That one took such a long time to correct! I will take that over cursing any day haha

My son was saying sh!t. We're not sure where he got it from but he was also using it in the perfect context. We turned it into shoot(not our favorite) but better than the alternative and he stopped saying it completely.

So this morning, I was changing DS diaper, and I was making a big deal in front of DDs how they need to poop in the potty, not like babies in a diaper, etc. I said, "ewwww, disgusting!
DD: "eww, fu@&!ng"
Me: J, say disgusting poop
DD: "fu@&!ng poop"
I made her say it 38 times! OMG, mystery solved! She's just mispronouncing disgusting!

Mine too. Her teacher was like "um does she have a new word?...the f word". We were like no that's frog. Lol. Her sister in the other hand, is probably saying the f word.
