Looking at getting a larger car

We currently have a Hyundai Santa Fe for us and our two kids. There is room for the day to day travel we do. However, after traveling up to see my parents 8 hours away and having to pack up our 3YO and infant, we saw we have limited space in the trunk after putting in the pack n play, double stroller and our suitcases and space saver high chair, there wasn't much room in the trunk.

So, DH and I are looking at a minivan or another SUV that supports a 3rd row.

For cost reasons, we are looking at:

-Santa Fe Limited (3rd row w/captain chair seats)

-Chrysler Town & Country

We have looked at, but due to price and/or lack of options we want, we put aside:
-Honda Pilot
-Dodge Minivan

Any input?

We are in the market too and we are seriously considering the Toyota Highlander. It was really nice, spacious, had the third row seat, and drove nicely. You should check it out.

I had a Highlander, and while I really liked the car I hated the customer service at Toyota.

My DH got the Chrysler Town & Country and we love it and it was cheaper than the Highlander. It has so many awesome kid friendly features. There is a good amount of space behind the third row unlike the space in most SUVs behind a 3rd row.

My sister has a T&C too and has 3 kids, she loves it and it was cheaper than others even w/ all of the features.

I have 3 young kids and have the town and country. We LOVE it. Plenty of space, the stow and go is awesome for storage during road trips. My car will be paid off when my oldest are 7 and I will probably get another one. DH has a Santa fe right now and is looking to trade it in for something with 4 wheel drive with 3 rows.
