Gift from new baby to dd/ds
I have some time, but just curious for those that have two...or more, did you get a gift from the new baby to your first child?
I'm def going to, just was wondering what. I guess anything, right?

I am due in 6 weeks with DS2. We will be getting DS1 a bike since it is spring.

OMG, I think that is a great idea! Like a thank you for being my big sister/brother. I think it would depend on the age of DC#1 as to what I would get, like if they are old enough to understand, maybe a toy that is for a "big kid" because they are no longer the baby and are old enough to have this now, KWIM?

we got her something but didn't say it was from the baby. I got DD a boy baby doll (since I was having a boy) and backpack carrier ... she was asking for it. I gave it to her in the hospital and she liked but didn't really show interest in it. I think it was cause I was in the hospital for a while and she just wanted me home. she wanted nothing to even do with her brother  once I came home everything was fine and she even named her doll the same name as her brother.

Gift from new baby to dd/ds
I had planned to but DD2 came early and I hadn't gotten a chance. I pulled out a christmas gift that was meant for a friend and threw it in a gift bag for her during one of our rough moments after the new baby came home. It was the M&D sort and snap game and she loves it and still talks about how her baby sister gave it to her.

I plan on getting DD a Big sister t-shirt and a gift bag with crayons, coloring books, snacks, a small toy or something.

My twins were 20 months when DS was born and we got them a play kitchen from their new little brother. The day we came home from the hospital we put the twins down for their nap and the kitchen was all set up for them when they woke up. They loved it!

We did. It was just a little toy from our 2nd to our 1st. He loved it. We will do the same next month for our 1st & 2nd from our 3rd.

I plan on getting DS a gift, I just don't know what yet. I also want to have a "Big Brother Celebration" with just DH & I the day before I go into the hospital.
DS will get to pick what to do that day, what he wants for dinner, etc. It will be a day all about him & how awesome of a big brother he is going to be!

from that etsy seller. It came last week and it's perfect. So happy with it. I know she will love it!
