Have you had or been to a birthday party at any of these venues?
I'm trying to figure out what we're going to do for DD's 2nd birthday. Her bday is in March. There would be about 8 kids, boys and girls, ranging in ages 2 - 4. We've done My Gym and Once Upon a Treetop for my DS before so I've ruled them out for now. If you've hosted or been to a party at any of these places would you recommend? TIA!

Little Gym Smithtown
Build a Bear (already received some mixed reviews)
Le Play Cafe

We did my girls 2nd birthday party at LePlay. Kids ages 1-4. Even the one 6 yo had a great time. All the kids loved it and it went smoothly. They were great with setting up and timing and packing everything up.

i have been to parties at bubble and Le Play cafe. For that age I liked Le Play WAY better. Bubble was cute but my then 2 year old really didn't have much of an interest in sitting and making a craft. She enjoyed just running around and playing which is what they do at Le Play Cafe

Went to build a bear. It was for a six year old party. The kids liked it because they got to pick out a bear and outfit but that was about it. No food or cake. This was about a year ago at Roosevelt field. Maybe they have a party room now. Not sure. I wouldn't love it for my kids because it really just felt like shopping an not a party.
No cake= no party to me. Lol!

I've definitely heard more negatives than positives for build a bear so I think I'm crossing that off the list of options, thank you! And you totally need a cake or cupcakes for a party, haha!!

I had my kids 3rd bday at Le Play and I loved it. I also went to a 3rd bday at Bubble and it was cute. Definitely not for kids under 3 though.

We did our oldest son's 2nd birthday at Le Play and it was awesome! Perfect for that age group!
