Sad News From Mandy Moore & Ryan Adams
We're super sad to report that Mandy Moore has filed for divorce from alt rock hero Ryan Adams. The news comes just weeks shy of what would have been their sixth wedding anniversary.
According to Radar Online, Moore cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce filing. The singer-slash-actress also asked for spousal support from her now-ex.
Moore and Adams shared several artistic collaborations while they were together. (Although, we'll always be partial to "Candy" — don't pretend you don't know all the words.) They first shared vocal duties on the Alice In Chains cover “Empty Rooms.” More recently, Adams was reported to be helping Moore record a follow-up to her last album, 2009’s Amanda Leigh.
The sad split comes a few months after the release of Adams' latest self-titled album, on which the (we thought happy) couple collaborated; Moore sang back-up.
