Hotel with awesome pool?

There are cool pools at the resorts at Crystal Springs in NJ. Our friends do weekends there with their kids a lot.

We love it there! We actually prefer Minerals pool to Grand Cascades because the outdoor (open year round) pool at Minerals is WAY bigger and that's where we spend most of our time.

The Hilton/DoubleTree in Lancaster has a little indoor water park (the big pool is separate). We stayed in Sept. DD is 3 and loved it.

Doesn't that get cold when you are swimming outside in the winter? I get that the pool is heated, but it seems like you would still be cold

We're going to cocokey in Connecticut in February. Doesn't look the nicest lol but looks good enough for a relatively nexpensive night away with the little one!

Not cold at all. We have a local hotel we take the kids to and their outdoor pool is open year round too, but I hate it! I freeze my butt off and only go in for my kids. The one at Minerals is way warmer and you don't feel cold.
As for which is better for a toddler, I would probably go with Minerals. The pool area is bigger and they gave more kid-centric activities. Grand Cascades is definitely nicer, but their restaurants are a bit fancy and I don't remember seeing an arcade or kids club. When we stayed at GC it was just me and DH.

Ahh good to know! Does Minerals have an arcade, or any kids activities? Thinking of going over Winter Break and then snowtubing at MC

They have a small arcade, a huge gym with basketball courts, indoor racquetball and tennis, a kids club activity room (I'm not exactly sure what they do), and I believe they had shows on certain nights like a magician.
There are coupons for Mountain Creek in Dunkin Donuts that you can use towards skiing or tubing. Just make sure your kids are 5 years old and talker then 42".
