Depends how long she's been on antibiotics.
Usually after 48 hours on them you aren't contagious anymore.
Also, I am not sure how it's spread, but I don't think a hug alone could spread it.

I would not be alarmed. It was a hug and if she is on antibiotics I am sure she's fine. And if you had the shot I really would not worry about it.

WTF people!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really hope u r right. I just don't know why people who are sick or have been sick don't use common sense to stay away from others instead of hugging them!!!!

I agree, that was dumb on her part. Probably wasn't thinking. Maybe she doesn't have kids yet so she doesn't think the way a mommy would about whopping cough.
