What to bring to school for birthday if homemade snacks are not allowed?
Our school just recently instituted a rule against bringing in homemade snacks for birthdays. We are celebrating my son's 5th birthday tomorrow and want to bring in something fun. Any ideas other than store bought cupcakes or munchkins/donuts?

Our school also does not allow homemade items.
For DS's birthday we bought in ice cream sandwiches. The kids loved them.

Ooh that's a great idea! Do you know if they just keep them in stock ready made? Or do they just prepare them when you order them or what? I've never gotten them before and just want to make sure I'd be able to get them in the morning.

This sounds like a great idea!
We were mystery reader the same day we celebrated my son's 5th birthday, so instead of bringing two snacks we opted to do a craft for the birthday celebration. We did the DIY superhero masks with the class. They had a great time picking the one they wanted to color. After we finished we all put on our masks for a class picture. It was a LOT of fun!

Baskin Robbins has nuts in their stores, so you would have to read the pre-packed label to make sure it doesn't have the "May contain" or "Processed in the same facility" verbage.

We are allowed to bring home made treats at our school, but I didnt have time to do that this year.
So we did ice cream sandwiches from Carvel (the ones with the Oreo cookies)
