My personal opinion it's old, run down and smells funny....BUT other's like it so I would say it's personal preference. I probably would choose East Wind or Hotel Indigo instead.

I feel like that description- old, run down and smells funny- applies to every single hotel in Montauk.
Yet they all charge like they are the Ritz.

Very true! however many have renovated recently, thank god. 
and we don't have hotels. we have motels.
