Scooter Booties on ETSY - RAVE!!!!

I have been meaning to post for a few months now that I came across the BEST footwear for my son. They are ideal for kids learning to walk and then great as they get older.

The ped told me that it is best for Julian to learn to walk barefoot or with socks, obviously, but no sneakers or real shoes. But he is in daycare and really needs SOMETHING on his feet. I didn't want him just in socks all the time. So, I went in search for a moccasin or some kind of soft-sole shoe.

Then, I found Scooter Booties on ETSY!!! They are soft, have a non-slip bottom, and MOLD to the feet as if he is walking barefoot but I don't have to feel like a bad mom who looks like her kid is always in just socks! I was starting to get embarrassed lol. THE BEST PART IS he never tries to pull them off. They are just as comfy as socks. Big soled shoes are SO annoying to him. I tried putting them on him for special occasions and he HATES THEM. But he loves these and the gripping on them is perfect - they always stay!

So, ever since Julian started walking at about ten months, he has been wearing Scooter Booties - they have a million different styles and colors. They do custom orders. The shop owner is a DOLL. I love them!!! They come from Long Beach, CA.

I hope this helps other mama's who are in the same predicament I was in!! They are even cute for just around the house or going to grandma's - perfect for daycare. I love them!!!! I can't wait for summer so I can get summer styles :)

Also look up moccasins. There are a ton of moccasin makers on etsy that make them in amazing colors and designs especially for girls. Its exactly like the ones you have posted above.
