I feel like doing that sometimes when I get no shows & I didn't invite others due to space constraints! (Though I would never!)

Totally have thought of doing this especially after 12 (yes 12) no shows at our wedding! Def takes some serious balls to do it though!

Yep: we had this at our wedding too. The excuse: It was raining! No longer friends with those people.
There must be more to the story though.
I am sure that if my kid is out sick from a birthday (rare, but DID happen with pink eye), we bring a gift for the birthday child & try to notify parents.
