Where would you go for a 3 night weekend getaway with a girlfriend?
I am planning a 3 night long weekend with a girlfriend. No kids! I would like to stay at a nice spa resort. My friend lives in Boston and we are willing to fly 3-5 hours.
Right now we are leaning towards Scottsdale, AZ. Places we are looking into are JW Marriott, Sanctuary, Four Seasons and Boulders.
Where would you go for a 3 night getaway?
Can anyone give feedback in the AZ resorts?
My friend has a hotel budget of $500-800 per night.

Canyon ranch (maybe the Miami one)
Canyon Ranch Miami was AMAZING.
Went for work but the place was beautiful, rooms were incredibly nice and HUGE with full kitchens and 2 showers, nice beach, multiple pools.
Didn't get to use the spa or any or the classes, but they had SOOO much they were offering in that sense.
Also, they are the only Canyon ranch that serves alcohol so you could get a drink by the pool or on the beach.
Impeccable service.
Short cab ride to South Beach too.
Highly recommend this.

Exactly. Trust me I would NEVER be visiting the other ones.
As it was, I was kind of annoyed that the hotel bar closed a little early at this one and you couldn't get poolside bar service after 4 pm I think.

Terranea outside LA is very nice (went there for a conference once).
