Godparent gifts?
DS is being christened next Saturday and his godparents have graciously bought him a beautiful outfit and cross. Should we get them a gift to say "thanks for being his godparents"? I don't know what is customary.

Godparent gifts?
It's sweet that you're even thinking of giving them anything. For my god daughter, i paid $700 for her custom made dress (my friend was very specific with what she wanted). At the time, i remember thinking 'holy sh*t! $700 for a baby dress!!' Needless to say, they never gave me a thank you gift/card. I wasn't expecting anything from them, but it would have been nice.

When DS was christened we got the godmother an Alex and Ani bracelet (godmother) and an godmother frame and for the godfather we got him the same picture frame and a few gift cards for starbucks and dunkin donuts (he's a cop, LOL)

It's a nice jesture. I got my sons godmother a pandora bracelet with a charm and the godfather a watch.
