Anyone watch Bringing up Bates??

I guess this is the spin off to the Duggars.

It seems as if maybe they aren't as strict as the duggars.

In the 20 minutes I watched last night, I saw tons of frontal hugs, a daughter who has suffered miscarriages, another who is pregnant but doesn't want 20 kids, and a another kid who said that he and his wife kissed before marriage.

Anyone else watch it? Not sure how many episodes they have had so far.

Yes I have been watching as I saw their other show on TLC and when they were on with the Duggars.

While I don't agree with them 100% (as they do have many views like the Duggars), I like them SOOOO much more.

They are more relaxed, more loving, more involved. Kelly is not drugged up like Michele seems to be. She wants to be in her kids lives.

I LOVE that the son told them that he and his wife kissed before getting married and they were ok with it AND that they said whatever they all do AFTER they get married is up to them. Not like the Duggars who still control their kids even AFTER they leave their home.

I haven't see this yet, but I remember one episode of 19 Kids & Counting when the Duggar's were helping renovate the Bates's house & the teenage girls complained that the Duggar Girls were going to paitn their room " yuck colors".

The Duggar girls would have never been able to criticize/have an opinion like that!

I was shocked b/c I thought they ere even more backwards, based on the way they dressed.
