I think she's a talented dancer- but I don't think what they are doing in this video is dancing.

Yup, like the chick from The Ring crawling right out of the tv! She is an incredible dancer but I am not sure what will give me worst nightmares, the fact that she looks possessed or the tightness of Shia LeBouef's pants

I loved it.
I really don't know Sia's music or this girl dancer, and i think Shia LaBeof is a total freakshow in real life. But this video was not creepy, sexualized or disturbing to me at all. I thought it was really artistic and beautiful.

I thought it was very interesting. Interpretive dance. Fairly popular dance style. It looked like they were animals trapped in a cage, and Maddie found a way to escape, and was trying to help Shia escape, too, but he wasn't able to. It's a very emotion-based form of dance. Not structured like other styles of dance.

My interpretation was that she was a figment of his imagination or a visual representation of his mental anguish. The fighting, the brief tenderness, the fact that at the very end she seems to mold her body onto his and then try to help him "escape." It seemed like somebody fighting themself.
Bizarre, nonetheless!

I read on the comments of the youtube video that it was sia and her father. And the cage represented mental illness. Her and her father suffered from mental illness and she got help and he didn't. And she couldn't save him.
