My DH's office has a lil party tomorrow where people bring their families in. My dd and I are going with him.
This is my first time going to anything like this and I do not know how I should dress my daughter.
Were leaving early in the morning to go into the city. Do I put her in her dressy dress? Or do I just put her in something cute and comfy, but still sorta dressy not too casual.
I know this isn't earth shattering stuff here but I always overthink and I really love to dress her cute and don't want her to be over or under dressed. LOL
And he has absolutely no clue... typical guy LOL

How are the adults dressing (you and DH?) I don't think you could go wrong on Christmas eve having her in a pretty dress either. I think you'd be ok either way.

While I also think you would be okay either way, I am impartial to the dressy dress. I think little girls should sparkle at all times but that's just me (the mother of a boy praying for a girl ). I also don't think you can overdress a little girl for a holiday party.

I say let her sparkle away! Bring a change of clothes if you want just in case.

Anything goes. At my old office, there would be girl siblings in matching gorgeous dresses and kids in comfy stuff. I would probably do cute & comfy so their holiday dresses didn't get ruined before family saw them.
