Where to buy formula through your insurance?
If you have a prescription formula where do you buy it so it's covered? I just realized my can is almost at 30 days. I had originally bought it at cvs but they wouldn't bill through insurance.
On a side note, do you follow the 30 day rule strictly? We only use 1/2 teaspoon a day so wondering if I can get a few extra days in or I could always skip a day or two if I can't get it in time.

I get Rx formula at CVS. It is covered by my insurance. Just have a copay. I had to get approval for it. So the doctors office had to send medical records and paperwork to my insurance company. Right now I get 9 cans every 30 days. I just got a new script and he wrote it for more since DS is now eating more.

My dr called script in to Continued Care. They send me a monthly shipment to my door. I have no co pay.

it depends on your insurance I would have loved to have gone through edge park cause they deliver to your door but my insurance wont cover me. I had to get it though CVS. who ever told you they wont bill insurance doesn't seem to know what they are talking about. I will say I didn't deal with any of it. the insurance and my dr provided everything I needed from them and I just went and picked it up. I had it set to automatic refill so every 30 days or i just went and picked up the refills.

The girl at CVS told me since they only carry it otc they can't bill through insurance. I probably only need one more can so it's not a huge deal. Just annoying bc I don't think she needs it anyway and most of the can will go in the trash after 30 days anyway. Maybe I'll see if target can do it.
