Do you send in gifts for nursery school (for the classmates)
I'm getting his teacher and the assistants gifts. And I'm sending in drinks for their class party. Now for Halloween, I sent in little goody bags. But I'm torn for this one. Partly because I'm at a loss as to what to send in.
So, do you send in things for the kids? If so, what?
ETA: I'm a teacher but my classes always sent in FOOD treats for the Holidays. More for a party. On Halloween and Valentine's Day, some kids would bring in treat bags for their classmates. Not all would.
Basically, does it really matter if I sit this one out?

I'm not sending gifts in for my twins' friends in nursery school. I am sending in teacher gifts and it's our turn to bring in snack so I'm sending in that as well for their little holiday party.

Yes, I made a little goodie bag for each kid with a card from DD I spent maybe $2 on each one.

in the target dollar section, I found little "make your own" snowman necklace kits... they were $1, already packaged up nice, so I grabbed one for each kid in his class.
so I didn't go nuts- just happened to see something cheap and easy so I went with it

My daughter wanted to make cards for all her classmates, so that's what we did. She signed her name, decorated the cards with stickers and I attached a candy cane to each card.

Yes, little goodie bags with a fancy lollipop, a candycane and a sheet of stickers. She likes to help me make the bags up.

I made goody bags for the kids with snowman theme because i do not know if everyone is catholic or celebrates xmas. So i avoided merry xmas or xmas anything.
Snowman:
Eraser
Mini coloring book with crayons
Mini playdough
Candy cane
Stickers
Put a free printable tag on that says happy holidays...
I love this time of year and do not find it at all stressful.

I never send that kind of stuff in because I personally just throw it out when it comes home. I have enough trinkets and junk.

I bought Christmas books from Scholastic. They were one of those bundle specials they do - $20 for 15 books. Each child will get one book.
It was the easiest thing I could think of and the cheapest.

I did. I found things at the $ section in Target. DD only has 7 kids in her class including her so I didn't think it was a big deal.

One of DS' classmates just gave chocolates to everyone. Now it makes me feel like I have to go out and buy something for the class as well. Thankfully there's only 8 kids in his class.
