birthday parties?
I'm not a parent yet so I'm doubting if I know proper etiquette.... so I'll just ask this: if you had a nice sized first birthday party for your child/ren, did you invite your friends that don't have kids?

Re: birthday parties?
Yes, for first birthday we had family and close friends (even if they did not have kids). I wouldn't have been offended had they not chosen to come.

we invited family & close friends (even if they didnt have kids) We did have to limit the amount of friends though bc of the space we picked.

I think it depends on where the party is. If at home or hall - yes. If at a kid type place - no

Yes, for 1st birthday party we had a big party. Invited family and close friends with and without kids. We had it at our home for both boys in the summer. Had the food catered, drinks, entertainment, etc.

We only invited our really close friends that did not have kids. But I think it is really a personal choice!
