Pediatrician recs - RVC, Oceanside or Long Beach area
Please recommend your pediatrician in these areas. We are due in March.
Also, what was important to you when choosing?
Willing to travel a little farther for someone great.

Dr Sena. In Rvc. We will in wantagh and travel to him!! He's a solo practitioner, but we rarely wait for an appt he answers his own phone. No nurse, pa just a receptionist and him. No complaints whatsoever

I go to Pediatric Professionals of LI - Dr. Forgione, Dr. Peloso and Dr. Fusco. We see all three - I LOVE Dr. Peloso - but they are all great. I never have to wait and they were wonderful when my daughter was a preemie.
ETA - this is in RVC

I go to Pediatric Professionals of LI - Dr. Forgione, Dr. Peloso and Dr. Fusco. We see all three - I LOVE Dr. Peloso - but they are all great. I never have to wait and they were wonderful when my daughter was a preemie.

We go here too. We love them.

I use Long Island Pediatrics in Baldwin. Dr Lippmann is great, super friendly with the kids etc.

This!! When we lived on LI and I was pregnant with DS1 I loved them right from the start. All three were wonderful with DS. When I moved to NJ I was sad to leave them, but I was lucky enough to find a great Ped just as wonderful as them and even better that he knew them since he did his residency with them.
ETA - They're in RVC.

I wish I knew who all these Lippman/Rosenbloom moms were. We're there like every week this year 
In fact, DH is there right now with DS.
To the OP I like them, too. I don't adore them, but they're good.

Dr. McCarthy & Dr. Groz-Suba (spelling could be off, same practice) in RVC over at Mercy. They are affiliated with S. Nassau & Winthrop. They are great. LO has been with them since birth. He was hospitalized for a month when he was 6 weeks and they came at least 1x a day (depending on what was going on) and there is very little wait when I go in.
