8 year old gift advice

I need suggestions for my 8 year old niece for christmas.

She's into Journey dolls which are a bit too expensive unless i get her 1 gift, which i'd rather not do.

any other ideas?

My DD is 8, and is into Monster High dolls, and the new Ever After High dolls. She also likes the "girl" legos that they have out. Maybe a scooter? Can you ask her parents what's on her list or to give you an idea of what she likes?

Why not get her some accessories for the Journey Dolls? They are inexpensive at Toys R Us.

she doesn't like monster high dolls, i do know that.

I did ask my sister in law and she recommended a journey 18" doll or lalaloopsy baby dolls. I got her one of the lalaloopsy baby dolls but i'd like to get her more than that. Just not a $70 doll. Chat Icon

Unfortunately they're not ones to really give a lot of suggestions.

How about an education toy?
A telescope, microscope... Something like that will last years.

Journey Girls are not $70. They are like $35 to $40 at Toys RUs.

My 8 year old DD loves craft kits - the bracelet making ones or the new big thing is the duct tape crafts - they sell a few on Amazon.

Journey Girls are only sold at TRU, so if you are seeing them on Amazon, they are third party sold, and jacked up like everything else that a third party sells.
