Newborn boy peeing through clothes- help!
I'm a first time boy mommy, and after having twin girls, I am so new to this.
He will be in his bassinet sleeping and he starts to cry... I notice that his diaper isn't really wet, but the clothing and bedding is soaked!  We call it ninja pee. Help! What am I doing wrong?

Make sure "it" is pointed down when you put the diaper on!

Also if you are using vasoline you could be using too much and making the diaper no absorbent.

Point that sucker down!  
Otherwise it points up and the pee goes up and OUT the top of the diaper!

Maybe when we are done loading him up with the Vaseline and gauze, it will be better too!

Not sure how big he is, but my DS was leaking out the leg holes of the diapers, especially when he had a BM. We ended up having to step down in diaper size, to Preemie for a couple weeks, cause his legs were skinny and there was just big gaps where the diaper was supposed to be touching his legs (Newborn diapers). He was 6lbs 5oz.

Try a different brand diaper. Often the diaper leaks through the legs.

I thought it may have been the opposite. he was peeing through when it was N diapers. I switched to 1 and I've pointed it down! Let's see how it goes... so far, so good!
