Is it doable? Is it a lot of walking and stairs.. thinking of taking a mini vacay in Jan after the holiday madness. I'd like to check out something cultural rather than just veg out at the beach.

Re: Old San Juan w/ toddler
Definitely doable. We were told it's difficult with a stoller so we took DC in a carrier. We saw so many people there with strollers. We've been to PR 2xs with DC and we've been all over (not just San Juan, Old San Juan, and the beaches) so if you want suggestions on places to go with a toddler, let me know. I'm happy to help! We had such a great time there.

Thank you!! I was thinking of a day trip, as we are only there for 3 days. We are not really beach bum people, so wanted to take in the sights and sounds of PR as well. I'd love some suggestions in Old San Juan..:)

Re: Old San Juan w/ toddler
We went to PR last month and did one night in Old San Juan. I thought it would be nice to expose the kids to culture. It was hot and not enjoyable for the kids at all.
I would skip and go straight to the beach.
