What are you getting your 4-5 year old for the holidays?
I am really stumped and my dad wants to buy my DD a big gift and I have no ideas for him.
What are you getting your 4-5 year old - boy or girl?

I know so far my sister got my nieces (they are 4 and 3) a bunch of dresses from disney store since they are into dress-up. Also she is prob going to pick them up some "frozen" things as well.

Re: What are you getting your 4-5 year old for the holidays?
An $$ toy that is really a favorite at our friends' homes is the magnatiles. We are trying them as a combo gift.
Wooden building blocks are a big hit in our home. We have a nice set from when DS was 6 weeks old & they get played with every day.
A play tent is small when folded, but a great gift (they have ones that look like castles).
A train set is nice, if you have the space.
Lessons and/or memberships are awesome too.

Re: What are you getting your 4-5 year old for the holidays?
she keep asking for that damn Elsa castle so she is getting that. It was $120 without the stupid dolls (can you tell I am not happy about the price )
I put magna tiles on her list she asked for bunch of small stuff I could list but one thing I have been thinking of getting her and her brother is (she didn't ask for it) the step 2 extreme roller coaster.
Also I was thinking of getting her "nice" doll furniture.

Pretty similar list for my boys who are also the same age. I also asked my MIL for a karaoke machine. Which one are your kids getting? Only ones I've seen are the girly ones that are Frozen themed.

Re: What are you getting your 4-5 year old for the holidays?
My DS is getting the following between Santa and family (what I know of so far)
- another set of magna tiles. He LOVES these. My MIL got him a set last year and is getting another one because one set is just not enough for his imagination - Board games - Operation Minion, Hungry, Hungry Hippos, Chutes and Ladders - a bike with training wheels - a science kit - some books
I am debating a small play tent or a table top easel.
