We never used one but what worked for us was just carrying a paper soda cup in the car and stopping in a Starbucks or 7eleven, etc and filling in 1/4 with hot water and sitting the bottle in it. Just a thought.

That's what we do, but stopped at McDonald's.
We borrowed this bottle warmer from a friend and we loosened the top, but one side of the bottle got so warm it made the milk explode out from the top.

I never used one. I always made sure to bring a room temp bottled water, the bottle, and the formula in the to-go container.

Never used a warmer ever. Ds drank at whatever temp. I usually tried for room temp but he would take cold ones too.
