DVDs that are really long?
I plan to drive the kiddos back and forth to LI (from MD) by myself a few times next year. They're happiest when the DVD player is going on these long trips but are used to me changing up the DVDs as Daddy drives. Are there any good DVDs out there that are 4 hours+? Something to hold the attention of a 4yr old girl and 18m old boy?

Why not just throw a movie on that's 2 hours? When the movie is over, it would be time for a bathroom stretch break anyway, and then you can put a second movie on.

This is what I was thinking. We would have to make a pit stop somewhere no matter what so I would plan it that way.

the sound of music is 174 minutes long... I don't think you can find much longer than that. That gives you almost 3 hours hours and let's face it, they can be without tv for a little bit. after 3-3.5 hours they'll have to pee or stretch anyway, so then you can just replay it or throw in another dvd at that point.

haha sorry but no I can't think of anything really super long. I'm with the others.. just 2hrs then a break. Good Luck

Titanic is 194 minutes long... not sure if its totally kid friendly

Can you get a season of a show they like and then play all the episodes? We rented Full House recently, and each disc had a bunch of episodes, and they would continuously play.
