big girl bed….pillows and blanket
so dd (18 months) is still in the crib right now but wears a sleep sack and has no blankets or pillows in there with her.
we are moving her to a bed before i have our second baby in may.
my thoughts: now putting her in a bed with a pillow and a blanket and she will get lost in the blanket and sheets and pillow and suffocate 
do you think i should put a pillow in her crib to get her used to one?
should i stop the sleep sacks and give her a blanket?
or does none of this matter and I'm just over thinking it?

My DD went from the crib and sleep sack to a bed with a sheet and blanket, without any issues. I bought her a pillow for her bed, but almost 3 months later she has yet to use it. It gets tossed on the floor every night.

Get rid of sleep sack if putting her in bed. She will quickly learn how to get out of bed & has to be able to walk

DS has a blanket and pillow in his crib. I'd transition her that way. You still have a lot of time before May.
