Nunley's Carousel
I booked DD's 1st birthday there next month. It's a private party that starts at 10.
I just wanted to get feedback from anyone who has had a party there or attended one.
I know we are not allowed any decorations that have to be hung on the walls or balloons. I was wondering how big the tables are that the kids sit at? I'm trying to decide on some table décor ideas.
Also, how was the food for the adults? I am torn between doing bagels and coffee since it starts at 10 am. I figure that food will probably be served in the second hour of the party, so that would be closer to noon.
Overall did you like it?

Nunley's Carousel
I went to a party there last year. The tables are like picnic table size. We sat & did a craft. After that everyone was up socializing...nobody was sitting much. The kids were on carosel. My boys were 2yrs at the time & neither one would go on it. One of them was SCARED of music so stayed close to door/outside. I believe the party came with 5 pizzas & I don't believe my cousin ordered extra. She said it was enough. I don't recall bagels being there...but maybe there was. It was a cute party. If your child likes it there, he/she will have a great time. Happy Birthday!!

Nunley's Carousel
Sorry to crash your post...would this be a good party for a mix of kids and adults? I'm on the lookout for places I could have the kids and DD's grandparents, godparents all at once. Other than at home, lol.

Re: Nunley's Carousel
We had my older daughter's birthday there. That is my daughter on their website, and on the bottom is my younger one, older one playing croquet and her cupcakes too.
They use long tables. I only did pizza. When we did it they gave you 5 pies (not sure if that changed). I ordered one additional and we had a few slices left over. I brought a few table cloths, plates and napkins for the kids food. I used their stiff for the crafts and paper goods for the adults.
I have been to several parties were they put centerpieces out (one put carousels out). Some brought their own table cloths and paper goods bc they had a theme others used what was provided.
I am pretty sure the store the tables in the corner where they have the parties. If you go over you should be able to see them.

We did my older DD's 4th bday there and had kids 18 months up to about 10. The adults also rode the carousel. So yes you definitely can do it for a range of kids and family.

Re: Nunley's Carousel
I wouldn't go crazy. We had my son's 2nd birthday there. It was great! We also had a morning party that started at 10/1030. We had about 20 kids and 20 adults. We only had the 5 pizzas and drinks they provided.
I think we had them cut 2 pies into 16 pieces. Alot of little kids don't really eat at parties. I know mine don't. We did have a lot of cupcakes/cake. 5 pies was the perfect amount. The woman that runs the parties even recommended just sticking with that.
I just used the paper goods they provided. I believe they had 4 picnic tables set up for the kids. they also had 2 additional tables, same size for the cake/cupcakes and then the pizza's and drinks. They also gave me a smaller table for favors.
If you are going to do table decor keep in mind they have the kids crafts on the tables too. It could be a bit much with additional stuff aside from say a cute table cloth. IMO I would keep the decor to say you cake table and/or favor table. Have fun!

Re: Nunley's Carousel
We just had dd's 3rd bday there in September. We did the private party too. They put together 2 rows of picnic tables, so each row has 2 picnic tables put together for one long table. I had about 20 kids and 25 adults. I didn't order extra pizza (and we had left over) but we did get bagels for the adults. They brought out the bagels at 1030 and the pizza for the kids later so the adults ate while the kids were on the carousel. It worked out well. I didn't get coffee but the party includes soda and water and juice included for 25 adults and 25 kids and there was plenty.
