Tricycle for a 2.5 year old

DD will be 2.5 this summer and bday is Xmas week. Last year we requested and received several outdoor toys that she grew into. Perfect since the holidays were overwhelming we we got to enjoy new things throughout the year with her.

Can you recommend a type of bike or tricycle for a child about 2.5 ?

She's average to small in height for her age. She has a little stationary bike toy my parents got her used and she loves it. She also has the little coupe car and loves that.

We got the radio flyer for DS last year. He was 2.5 at Xmas and it was perfect come spring time and summer. He is almost 3.5 and still fits well. We got the one with the push handle one because he had some motor issues. We pushed and helped him turn and he could "pedal". Handle is removable when they don't need it anymore. I'm on my phone so can't post pic or link but Google radio flyer and you should find it.

We got this schwynn tricycle for DD last year at 2.5, she loves it and still rides it like crazy. It's made so well and it was reasonably priced. It's like a real bike.

We bought the Radio Flyer tricycle for my son too. We got it at Target, and it has a push handle for adults to use, but that can be taken off when the kids learn to ride on their own. It's a great starter-tricycle.

My son loved it, and he really liked the storage trunk space in the back. He was always putting stuff in there.

The seat also adjusts forward and backward depending on your child's size. My son will still ride it in the basement, even though he's too big for it now. He's 5 yrs. old. My DD is only 21 mos, and she'll be riding it next summer, I'm sure.

We have the radio flyer but with out the push handle. Its the metal old school style one.

DS couldn't reach the pedals when we got it but we taped blocks to it and off he went.

I like the ones with the steering stick behind them.

We have the Schwinn easy steer. Cost about $75.
It's a great quality bike. It's been outside for 2 years now & looks almost new: no rust. It is metallic & gorgeous. The kids love the basket (and it rotates easily to dump water).

My boy at 4 is just getting the hang of going on it solo. He could ride with us pushing since before 2... for him to push and steer took a bit. DD doesn't quite have the hang of it at 3 (though she loves to ride it with me pushing and her "pedaling"). They both fit well on the trike (and are average to slightly above average in size). This is def a trike a kid won't outgrow til ready for a real bike.

I'm not sure if the delay in self riding is due to the trike or our location. The foot pedals are further away than other trikes. We live in a HILLY neighborhood and we could not have a trike without a control. We have a steep driveway... so are riding in the street with the kiddos most the time.
