Pediatrician near Farmingdale?

Hi, parents! I'll be joining the club at the end of April/early May with my first child and have just started looking into pediatricians. I have narrowed it down to 2 practices near Farmingdale -- Central LI Pediatrics and Seaford Pediatrics. Was hoping to get some info from anyone who uses either of those practices, or even better, someone who was picking between the two. I'm leaning towards Central LI because they have privileges at LIJ where I will be delivering so one of the doctors can come and do the exam before we get discharged as opposed to having to take the baby to the office the day or 2 after we get home. Suggestions? Opinions? Thanks!

We use Seaford Pediatrics. So far we have been happy with them. They did have attending privileges where I delivered and they did check up on DS while he was in the hospital but we did have to go to the office a few days after we got home for a checkup as well.

Pediatrician near Farmingdale?

I use Central LI peds. I got them through a rec and never even met them til I brought my DS there for his first appt. I love them. Our main Dr is Wolfson but I have seen them all and we have never had an issue.

I never have issues getting sick appts. I have even had them say just jump in the car and come on in. Well visits I book in advance but I WFT so I am limited on when I can go in but even when I forget I still can work things out.

I think you still have to go in the office a few days after birth anyway. THey put the newborns right into a room so you won't wait in the waiting room. They even told me to cal when I am on my way so they make sure they would have the room set.
