Do you reuse/repeat DD1's occasion dresses on DD2? I'm looking at holiday dresses and part of me feels like DD2 should have her own since it's her first Xmas, but the practical part of me feels like DD1 wore her 1st xmas dresses once and they are in perfect condition so I should reuse. My girls' birthdays are a day apart so I'm fortunate that most of DD1's clothes fit DD2 at the right time of year.

I only have 1 DD but I have 2 DS. For DS 2 he wore DS 1 christmas outfit for his first Christmas eve and then he got a new outfit for christmas. I think I did the same thing last year for his second christmas too.

2 dd's here and dd2 usually gets her new own dress. Lol. I kept all of dd1's stuff but when it comes time to it I feel bad/guilty and get her her own. I don't know why. Regular dresses and stuff if it fits she wears dd1's. But for special events/holidays she gets her own. It seems crazy but I don't spend a lot on the dresses. And I like the to coordinate usually so sometimes the old doesn't work.

I don't have 2 DD but if I did I would most likely do this especially for her first Xmas. Every Xmas after that it would depend if I could find something that coordinates and if I could I would reuse if I couldn't I would buy new for both.

I was going to use the same dress as dd1s first christmas but decided against it. dd2 gets most things passed down so i thought she should have something of her own.

Same. If I weren't so anal about coordination though, I don't think I'd care about DD2 having her own...

No I don't repeat special occasion dresses. Most times i coordinate or they were the same dress for photos.

I'll repeat but for different occassions. Like if DD1 wore a certain dress on Christmas, 2 years later I'll let DD2 wear it for Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve or a holiday party. They each get a new dress/outfit for Christmas day though (usually).
