Family photo shoot for holidays
we just made our appointment for our family holiday photo shoot at JC Penny
Looking for clothing ideas, what are you ladies doing? matching colors? etc
Its me, DH and my 7 month old son

I think complimentary rather than exactly matching. I would pick my DD's dress first and then coordinate with that. I wouldn't wear the same color as my DH

Dd was in red and white. I wore a silver sweater and Dh wore dark gray.

DS is almost 4... but we always do complimentary outfits rather than matchy-matchy. I usually pick out DS's shirt, and then DH and I find something that goes with it. usually I have DS in a plaid button down, and DH and I each wear more solid color shirts that have colors that are in DS's plaid. here are couple pics... one is our Xmas card pic for this year, and the other one is from a photo shoot we did in the spring...

Def complimentary not so matchy matchy... and i always love non traditional but some people love it. Have fun with it.

My DH has a nice plaid looking shirt
Wanted to go w that color scheme
Blue gray and silverish
This is a winter season greeting card
But now I read we should all wear solid colors
