Christmas Lists
What are you children asking for Holiday gifts this year?
Curious to hear what others have on their lists.
DS is asking for Legos - which personally I cannot stand. He is 4 and still needs help building the sets. I tried to convince him to just get the assorted lego box and he can use his imagination. But he insists on the kits with all the trucks and miniscule pieces.

Re: Christmas Lists
You should look into the lego junior sets that are geared for four year old kids.
7year old ds Snap circuits Legos Bey blades Video games
5year old dd American girl pet accessories she wants the party set Legos - I got her the female scientist set Goldiblox parade set American girl paper dolls
I am stumped after these things.

Re: Christmas Lists
This is good. I need ideas for my 3 year old. He has so much and all he plays with is various forms of transportation. He doesn't really get that he can ask for things from Santa. I would love to hear what others are getting their 3 year olds.

Re: Christmas Lists
my DD who is almost 4 asks for almost everything she sees
I got the Toysrus big toy book and let her circle what she wanted telling her that she may not get it all.
a lot of things circled were toy house type of toys so I am not help but maybe you can him do that to get some ideas on what he likes.

Is the TRU book already out? I was waiting for it and was planning on having him look through it to get ideas.

He received the lego junior sets for his birthday in Sept. I'm pretty sure he got all the ones that are available in that age group (I think there are maybe 6 of them).
But he still whines that he needs help putting them together. Then he complains when they break because they can't really be played with the way he plays with them. I really can't stand them

yes don't get me started with this I have called customer service and wrote on TRU FB page they apparently only mail it out to random customers. ( I was not one of them) I had to buy the Sunday Newsday at $4 just to get it!! I had no idea Newsday was up that much!! Luckily for me there was a coupon I can use that makes up for the price of the paper supposedly the stores should have them now too I would go soon to see if you can get one

If you have a TRU near you they have them right when you walk in.

Christmas Lists
DD is 2.5 and so far I've gotten her a piggy bank (the only thing she's asked for) a wind up robot, puzzles, the M&D sort and snap set, and DH got her a ukulele. She's also getting a kidkraft kitchen from the grandparents.
Some of the other things I may get or suggest for her are a trains set, a doll high chair or carseat, a sled, new hooded towels, lego duplos, the doc clinic play tent, a toy cash register, and books.

So far, he hasn't asked but I want to get him either a vet or doctor kit, a subscription to Highlights High Five or Hidden Pictures, and a TMNT toy.
We are hoping to move soon so we're keeping things simple.

Re: Christmas Lists
Gears are a great gift! My kids have the Wacky Wigglers set and it's neat, I think a 4 year old boy would enjoy it.
Magformers are also fun! Pricey, but neat!
My DD- 7- is asking for the Little Live Pets Romeo and Juliet birds (impossible to find, but I ordered online at TRU, so crossing fingers they come since that store stinks!). She is also asking for The Happy's pets (like Zhu Zhu, but larger). Also Calico Critters (she will get the Woodzeez from Target if I decide to buy them)
