OTC eye meds for 2 year old?
My 2 year old woke up today with her eyes almost sealed shut by "eye boogies". I noticed yesterday that they were alittle more watery than normal. But today, much worse. Is there anything I can quickly pick up at the pharmacy on my way home to give her? Or do you think this will quickly pass?

OTC eye meds for 2 year old?
Are her eyes red at all? Could be pink eye. DD had this last week and at first I just thought it was eye crust but I took her to the doc and it was confirmed as pink eye.

No, I don't this this is pink eye. I remember my first dd had the same thing at this age but I don't remember giving her anything. The babysitter told me another little boy is just getting over the same thing and he got eye drops but his doctor said it wasn't pink eye. I guess I'm looking for something to speed the healing along.

OTC eye meds for 2 year old?
Eye boogies could be conjunctivitis. She can have that with no pink eye symptoms. I would bring her to the dr just to be sure. Nothing OTC is going to help that. You need an antibiotic drop.

The above drops work for conjuctivitis which is pink eye, amongst other eye issues.
