Sleeping anywhere....
I see posts here and friends on FB posting pics on their kids that can fall asleep anywhere. My kids were NEVER like that. Besides a bed the only other place they have fallen asleep is the car.
I try to do movie nights thinking they'll pass out on the couch or our room on weekends and nope... up till they go to bed.
Just think it's funny bc I wish if they were tired enough they'd fall asleep. DS was so tired one holiday a year or so ago he threw up instead of going to sleep. My nephew can fall asleep anywhere.

Sleeping anywhere....
My DS is a sleep anywhere kid. Always has been. But we are on the go a lot so I never stayed home for naptime etc...

Sleeping anywhere....
I think she gets it from me. I can sleep anywhere. Music on, lights on, on a bed, in a chair, on the floor, with a blanket, without, day or night. If I want to sleep, I sleep.
I have to say its great for traveling! LOL the only issue I had is waking up. If she wakes up and doesn't recognize where she is, she freaks. So we wake her up on purpose and show her where she is and where we are and she HATES it. Then she falls asleep but wakes up ok. ;) haha

my kids can't sleep anywhere either. my older dd never even slept in the stroller and in the car ONLY if it was naptime. we travel a lot so i used to have wait untl noon for nap to leave or my ride was hell. she would scream for hours if not sleeping in the car.
dd2 is a little more flexible, a little more. last weekend we were at a cousins house and it was late so i rocked her and she fell asleep and i put her on a blanket on the floor. she actually slept, i couldn't believe it lol. i was expecting her to wake up. she will fall asleep in the stroller sometimes and in the car.
my kids will sleep anywhere, like any home that has a bed. doesn't have to be THEIR bed

Sleeping anywhere....
My DD is the same way as your kids. She will only sleep in her bed, the car or at daycare. She hardly ever fell asleep in her stroller once she got past the newborn stage.

Yes, that's my boys too. We go away and they've slept at hotel rooms or other homes bc we also try and travel a lot. Just wouldn't nap on a chair outside, or in the stroller, etc.

Sleeping anywhere....
My kids will pass out on the couch if they are tired enough but, mainly just sleep in their beds, car or stroller.
DS 2 did fall asleep though recently in a bouncy house at a block party.

My kids do not sleep any where but their cribs/beds. They don't even sleep in the car. Definitely not the stroller. But they sleep amazingly well at home. My DD has always slept 13 hrs and my DS 14 hrs.
