Where to go that is close to Vegas?
We just received an invitation to a wedding in Las Vegas for next May. (The couple getting married lives there). We took a vacation to Vegas last year, so I don't really want to go there for another vacation. So was trying to think of some place we could go for a few days before or after the wedding, that would be relatively close to Vegas. Any ideas?

Where to go that is close to Vegas?
Years ago I did a trip to San Diego, Vegas, and Utah. San Diego is beautiful and only a few hours drive to Vegas. If you're in to national parks, you can do Utah and hit up Bryce Canyon and Zion. Bryce is by far my favorite park and I'm dying to go back there!

Definitely do a road trip and hit a bunch of national parks out west. I can't wait til dd is old enough for us to do that!

Grand Canyon and/or Zion. Two of my absolute favorites places on earth! You could also go to Death Valley from there, but depending on the time of year that might not be too pleasant.
