Gift from DD and DS for new baby cousin?
I am throwing a baby shower for my sister this weekend. Of course, it's last minute, but I thought perhaps I should have something for the baby from my kids. Any ideas? (DOesn't have to be practical or from the registery, but something cute for their new cousin). She is due in December so I thought maybe some Christmas PJs, but I am sure you ladies have a good ideas for something more sentimental and creative.
ETA: this is her first baby and she is team

I have always wanted to do one of those soft baby photo albums but never got one. You could put a picture of the baby's mommy & daddy, maybe your parents (baby's grandparents, and your kids, of course!

I was going to suggest the same thing. We have the Sassy brand one and DD loves it and has since she was a baby. We got one as a gift with pics of DH's cousins and I made a second with the grandparents and aunts and uncles.

My SIL is due with a baby in January and her shower is next weekend. DD is giving her baby cousin a diaper cake for the shower - I bought the diapers and all little things (i.e. pacifiers, teethers, travel lotion, spoons, etc) and a coworker is putting it together for me.
ETA: one of my coworkers recently had a baby and I made a gift bag for her from DD to her daughter of last minute life savers (i.e. gas drops, gripe water, teething pods, oragel, favorite teethers, favorite stuffed animal, book, baby tylenol etc.)

Gift from DD and DS for new baby cousin?
My SIL made a gift bag of my nephew's favorite things and gave it us as a gift from my nephew to my DS (his new cousin). We loved it. It had his favorite book, a lovie, a toy, and some other small stuff that you don't think of to register for. She wrote a cute card saying "these are a few of my favorite things, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do". Thought that was such a cute idea.
ETA she didn't actually give us her son's favorite things. She bought us them new. Just to clarify

I did the same thing for my SIL. I put together a basket of my DD favorite things from when she was a baby....even included Aquaphor, boogie wipes, pacis, books, miracle blanket swaddle, car seat toy etc
