help with toddler hair please
What is an easy toddler hairstyle? This is for a wedding, so I'd like it to look neat, but doesn't need to be fancy. DD's hair is thin and short. It's long enough to make a small pony tail, but the sides fall out after a while. She will remove any headband or clip (even baby wisp clips!), but she is usually ok with a pony tail(when she lets me do it). Any advice? If it would just be neat for pictures, I will be happy.

Maybe just a plain pony with some flowers stuck in? Or some pretty ribbon wrapped around the pony to hide the elastic?

Re: help with toddler hair please
DD had her hair half up. We essentially did a pony tail with the front if her hair. We then put a pin in the top. It looked beautiful, was manageable & no big deal if hair fell out (the other half was down).

Re: help with toddler hair please
I would probably do half up if you want something simple. DD was a flower girl recently and the hair stylist offered to do hers. She did a pony tail and I really wasn't thrilled. Her hair was falling out and she definitely didn't look "neat" after a little while. I had a clip and rubber bands but I just never got the chance to fix it since it was a busy day. I should have just done it myself! Pinterest has cute ideas if you want to do something more fun. You could do pig tails or two small ponies at the top pulled into one or two more ponies at the bottom. I used to do this one when DD's hair was short and it wasn't hard at all. (this is a pinterest pic, not DD)

Thanks all! Half up sounds good - just sitting in the car seat destroys a pony. I wish I had more practice with this. And some cute bows. I bought some new elastics because ours are so hard to work with. Got a couple different kinds, so hopefully one works. I didn't think to buy bows that cover the elastic...
