G-lite vs G-lux
Being that I don't love the 2015 upgrades, I want to pick up an umbrella stroller with the 2013-2014 model before they are out of stock....
I know the technical differences between the lite and luxe, so I guess my question is more of in practice which is better. Is the recline and footrest worth the extra few pounds in the luxe? Or is the low weight of the lite enticing enough to not care about recline?
DD rarely naps in her stroller, if that makes any difference! I'd love people's thoughts who have either stroller!

G-lite vs G-lux
We have the G-LUX and love it. Honestly, it's so light anyway. I think it's only like 11 pounds.
I love the fact that we were able to change her diaper in there when out, since it reclines all the way back

THIS! i feel the same word for word. we've done many diaper changes in the g-luxe and when DS was younger he would nap in there.

Would you mind me asking if youve traveled around with it, like through the city or on vacation where it was constantly being folded and carried? I'm not worried about the in-out of car weight but rather if I can dash up subway stairs with that in one hand and holding dd in the other...

G-lite vs G-lux
The recline is HUGE! I would be miserable with a stroller that didnt recline. I have traveled with it. The fold and carry was fine. Nota problem for me.

We live in the city and use the g-luxe any time we take the subway or are going to a restaurant with limited space. DD has napped in it, so the recline is huge for us. Also love that it stands up when folded, but both models do thst.
If you travel a lot it is Especially great for napping at airports. Def recco it over the g-lite.

Re: G-lite vs G-lux
i live in the city and use the g-luxe for subways/buses/cramped restaurants. it's totally manageable to carry in one hand and have baby in the other, or even carry with baby in it up and down stairs (depending on weight of baby, of course). and hopefully a nice passerby would help you up/down stairs with a stroller in the subway anyway.
the one thing moms in the city complain about regarding either UB umbrella strollers is that it kind of needs two hands to collapse. i think the maclaren is a one-handed collapse...
