DD eats a lot of the things you said. Aside from that, yogurt, oatmeal, granola bars. We do a lot of smoothies too which are surprisingly quick. I freeze french toast and pancakes when I make those so we have extra. I've also done big breakfast casseroles on the weekend that I can reheat for a few days.

Re: breakfast ideas

I do the same with hard boiled eggs too. French toast, scrambled eggs, and English muffins are pretty quick to make.

You can also do home-made muffins. Make a big batch, freeze them, and defrost as needed. You can even sneak some veggie purée into the mix.Chat Icon

Re: breakfast ideas

Much of the above and every once in a while she asks for cheese and crackers for breakfast. So I give her that with some fruit.

I'm big on protein in the am but my boys eat yogurt at lunch, so I like to switch off from eggs with meat at breakfast. Trader Joes makes a great sweet apple chicken sausage (fully cooked), and I will also give them applegate ham. Since they love eggs so much, I give them scrambled eggs whites a few days a week, and they will eat them with spinach or cheese tossed in. Avocado is great at breakfast, or banana and peanut butter. I have a "from scratch" pancake recipe that I'll make on weekends. It has butternut squash (or pumpkin) in it and I add flax. I freeze them and reheat in the toaster during the week. HTH!

Sure! It's a bit of a beast though- don't be intimidated! :) I'll send it through FM since it's so long.

Eggs
Cereal
Oatmeal
Cut fruit
Yogurt
That's really it. I mix it up by putting cheese in the eggs sometimes or fruit in the oatmeal, choose different flavors of yogurt sometimes with fruit, sometimes without. Also I switch up the cereal. As long as it's high in iron.

I buy the steel cut oats & make oatmeal mixed with honey or fresh fruit or cinnamon.
Scrambled eggs mixed with veggies or hard boiled egg
Yogurt w/ fresh fruit & granola
homemade pancakes
on daycare mornings it's cheerios, kix, or puffins with a side of fruit.

Re: breakfast ideas

My boys pretty much eat the same stuff as already mentioned. They love English Muffins with peanut or sun butter. They also love yogurt parfait with fruit and granola. My middle DS will sometimes want turkey and cheese roll ups and a smoothie. I just go with it since he has sensory issues. I also make a no bake muffin the night before that they enjoy. I leave out the nuts.

No Bake Muffins

No Bake Muffin with Banana
