??? regarding anxiety
Asking for my sister..
My niece is 3yrs old and is afraid of everything. The pool, beach, rides, anything you can think of. She doesn't like trying new things. Gets bored easily and when doing activities with her, she give you 3 minutes and then wants to do it her way. Goes to the bathroom, what seems to be every 10 minutes. What's weird is that she actually needs to go. Doctor has done some urine test on her and everything seems fine. Whenever she gets nervous, she runs to the bathroom. Yesterday she was in my house and it was all about her hair. Was upset that her ponytail wasn't right. We kept taking it off and putting it back on and she wasn't happy. She spent the entire evening complaining about her hair and having to adjust it. We just couldn't get what was wrong. My sister is having a real hard time and she's also a single mom with 2 kids. Her husband left her when my niece was just a newborn baby.
Is this normal for a 3yr old?

It could be anxiety, OCD, sensory processing disorder, etc. I would take her to a developmental pediatrician and/or psychologist.
