Ahhh....The Humidity....
Yesterday's humidity was killing me. I was outside from 4pm until 8:30 yesterday detailing a 1968 Dodge Polara. What a day to do this car. It was sooo hot and so humid out. Thank god I was under a tree...So at least I didnt have the sun beating down on me....
This car was huge. I had to get all of the swirl marks out of the paint for the customer. I worked extra hard on this car to make it look good, and when he came to pick the car up, he couldnt believe his eyes. He gave me $40 tip , and he is going to be bringing his other car to me, and bring this car back before the winter for a waxing....
So this morning I am sitting in my cube, wishing I was home in bed because I am very sore and very tired.

nope no website.....I advertise on craigslist, and hand out flyers and business cards. I got most of my business from word of mouth.
I probably should have a website but I dont have the time to make one lol.

Scott, I can relate. I stained our deck the day before yesterday... yes, thank God for the big tree over me. I'm happy that I started at 7 am.
Make sure you put on some sunscreen

Nah I don't need sunscreen...I Got a perfect farmers tan going LOL.....I Am going to be the whitest guy in the Dominican republic when Danielle and I go there next week....Don't Worry though, I have my SPF100 Suntan lotion that my friend got me from Israel

Yeah it was pretty gross out. I dont mind the heat too much, I actually like it but the humidity was just disgusting.
Then last night after I waxed the car, I couldnt get the rest of the wax off so I had to rewash the car and wipe the car down again.
The customer came to pick up the car when I was doing this and he was in awe about how great the car looked
I got a $40 tip woohoo
