spinoff to winter coat
My DS just turned 1. What type of winter coat is safe for him in the car seat?

Re: spinoff to winter coat
you want something thin so that the straps on the car seat fit without adjusting them once the coat is on. we use fleece as it seems to be the thinnest. last year we got DD hers from target

I really liked the carters sherpa jacket. It's really warm without being puffy at all. I used all different hooded sweatshirts and fleeces but that one was my go to if it was really cold.

Fleece for in the car seat. We also have a puffy coat for DS when he's not in the car.

Last year when dd was one, I mostly did the carters Sherpa, with a blanket thrown over her while outside.

I have a puffy coat with a fleece detachable layer in the inside. This way I can use the fleece for the car
